TMC sold a bunch of SBT-1K's to the British Columbia Telephone Co, where they were used in a station in Vancouver as radio telephone equipment. Caption says:
TMC's 1KW transmitters installed at the British Columbia Telephone Company high frequency station, Vancouver, British Columbia. Mr. D. J. Morrell, Radio Maintenance Supervisor, is shown tuning the PA stage of one of the transmitters while Mr. A. (Al) Debeck, Commercial Supervisor of the British Columbia Telephone Company, looks on.
